Breast Cancer Polar Plunge Fund Raiser

By the way, these are my two nutty sons. They have a good heart, but can be overly silly, sometimes. LOL

I am a mother, retired foster mother, grandmother, and last, but not least, an author. I have self-published a children's book of rhymes, titled, A Rhyme In Time for ages five and up. I also wrote articles for Suite101, and had some short stories published in a local paper. At present, I am in a new phase in life once again. I hope to spend more time reading accompanied by Goodreads, write daily on my blog, and read other people's works of art. I also love photography and want to share some of my part of the world, along with travelling experiences.

That was great. Way back when we lived in Virginia Beach, my teenage son participated in a different kind of polar plunge (it’s hard to get “polar” in Virginia, but the thought is there). http://www.polarplunge.com/

Thanks for responding. The oldest son was a bit silly, but that is how he deals with difficult things. Both sides of the Border are nominating everyone they know to take the plunge. I hope they raise enough money to make a difference. My daughter is going through the whole ordeal right now. Appreciate your support.

Thank you Olivia. She is making the decision this week whether to take Chemo or not. She is in stage 2. They think they got it all, but the Chemo would probably help if any cancer cells were lose. Hard decision for her. She has Lupus which is a terrible disease in itself.
